Chanukah in Atlanta: Lights, Laughter, and Community Joy

Chabad Intown Atlanta hosted a vibrant series of Chanukah events in 2024, bringing the community together to celebrate the Festival of Lights.

The festivities began with the Virginia-Highland Menorah Lighting, followed by a Chinese Chanukah Dinner, offering traditional cuisine in a warm, communal setting. A highlight of the evening was Rabbi Schusterman enthusiastically calling Bingo, adding a fun and interactive element to the celebration.

The Ponce City Market Menorah Lighting featured live music and activities for all ages. The celebration continued at Decatur Square, where a special Gelt Truck, brought by the Decatur Fire Department, delighted attendees. Children especially enjoyed catching all sorts of Chanukah goodies, adding extra excitement and joy to the event. Below are some photos taken by Dean Hesse, and published on Decaturish.com.
