Cafe Chabad: Nat Seelen

Saturday Night Café Chabad with clarinetist and composer, Nat Seelen!

Join us for an evening of music, joy, and community!

We’re thrilled to welcome Nat Seelen, Artistic Director of the Boston Festival of New Jewish Music and clarinetist of Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band, for a one-of-a-kind solo recital.

The program features Seelen’s Suite No. 1, a six-movement homage to Bach’s Cello Suites refracted through the joyful lens of klezmer, plus selections from his newest work, 56 New Klezmer Tunes for Dancing.

And the night won’t just be about listening—you’ll help write a brand-new klezmer dance tune with Nat and he will perform it the end of the evening.

Join us for a delicious meal and tons of fun!

We’re delighted to welcome Yudi Cohen, a local chazan and singer, who will lead Havdalah and open the evening with several soulful songs. A passionate cantor, opera singer, and entertainer, Yudi brings a powerful and expressive tenor voice that adds warmth and meaning, setting the tone for a beautiful and elevated Café Chabad experience.
