Shavuot Dinner and Schmooze

Join Chabad Intown and Intown Jewish Academy for a lively Shavuot celebration — delicious dinner, creamy cheesecake, and powerful Torah inspiration!

Featuring TED (Torah Exploration Discourse) Talks from some of our own Chabad Intown community members, "Sparks of Wisdom" Roundtable discussion and stay for All Night Learning as we celebrate the giving of the Torah together.

9:15 pm Shavuot Dinner 
followed by TED Talks, Sparks of Wisdom + learning! 

*Siyum = conclusion. It is a tradition to celebrate the conclusion of learning Torah, and to inspire the beginning of continued study. We will be celebrating all those who completed JLI courses and Rosh Chodesh Society in 5785. Certificates will be handed out.

Torah TED Talks Speakers:

Chaim Drizin, MA, LMFT, CSAT, EMDR, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Ft. Lauderdale specializing in couples, children, and family therapy, known for his compassionate, narrative-based approach and national presentations on parenting and relationships.

Rafi Kohan, an award-winning journalist and author of Trash Talk and The Arena, draws on years of reporting and hundreds of expert interviews to share five engaging, story-driven principles of mental toughness, offering practical insights on performing under pressure for anyone.

Samara Minkin, executive director of The Spring—a new Jewish cultural center in Midtown Atlanta—brings 25 years of experience in arts and culture, public policy, and community engagement, with leadership roles spanning major museums, city government, and nonprofit boards.

Alexandra French is a top-producing Atlanta Realtor since 2011 and co-founder of BHHS Georgia Properties’ leading Level Up Team, known for her passion for real estate, commitment to client success, and dedication to community impact as founder of The Surrogacy Foundation.
