Julia Imerman
Born Jewish in South Africa and raised in Atlanta, Julia’s roots are the inspiration behind the menu. Julia grew up cooking with her Grandmother and Dad and those flavors are a continuous theme—along with an emphasis on Georgia grown ingredients. Julia’s Grandmother, Annette Kesler, is her culinary influence. She wrote her own cookbooks, and was a food writer + editor in Cape Town South Africa for 31 years. Her influence continues to inspire Julia daily.
Daily Chew is the physical manifestation of all of her passions and experience in one space. The space is intended to build community around nourishing food that supports your body and the planet.
When not at Daily Chew, you can find Julia, her husband, Nick, and her son Leo walking in Piedmont Park or eating on Buford Hwy.
