Rest, Reset, and Renew with Yoga Nidra
Dena Schusterman x Amy Robbins
The New Moon is a powerful time to pause, release, and begin again. Join us for a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra experience designed to help you slow down, reset your nervous system, and create space—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
To open the evening, Dena Schusterman will share brief insights into the energy of the new Jewish month, offering spiritual context and intention-setting aligned with the month of Shvat. Her reflections will help ground the experience and invite deeper awareness of what this new cycle holds.
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practiced while resting comfortably in stillness. It works in the subtle space between wakefulness and sleep, inviting profound relaxation and calm that goes far beyond ordinary rest. This practice is known to support better sleep, increase focus and cognitive function, and cultivate a deep sense of self-awareness. In fact, 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra can be equivalent to 3–4 hours of deep REM sleep.
Led by Amy Robbins, a longtime yoga practitioner and licensed mental health therapist, this session will gently weave together breathwork, mindful awareness, and soothing guidance to help you soften, open, and fully let go. No movement experience is required—this is an invitation to simply lie down, listen, and receive.
Tea, fruit + cookies will be served!
Come align with the energy of the New Moon, release what no longer serves you, and leave feeling grounded, rested, and renewed.
