Carrying Pesach Forward

Although Pesach is over, the aura of the holiday and the spiritual effects of the Matzah and Wine remain inside of us having become part of who we are.

The Haggadah tells us that "in each Generation they rise up to annihilate us and Hashem saves us from their hands". These words ring true for us in these times.

How do we fight anti-semtism? Entire organizations have made it their mission to accomplish this through varying methods.

We live in a time where we have a better understanding of what it takes to be a successful human being. In a word it's a sense of "self". Knowing that we are worthwhile just because we are a creation of Hashem.

Jewish leaders today more than ever are recognizing this idea as a collective for the Jewish People. If we want to be successful we have to stop worrying about what the world thinks about us and start living as proud Jews.  This includes being an educated Jew. Knowing what it means to be Jewish in our own practice and vis a vis the world.

As we enter spring, the air is crisp, the skies are bright, perhaps you'll consider your own Jewish education and journey.

I invite you to join me on a journey of understanding the role the Torah says that Jews have in the world.

In a four part course (CLE approved) "For all Humankind" we will explore this very idea.  What is Torah's message for the world? What is the role the Jew plays in G-d's Masterplan?

I hope you'll join me beginning on April 21.
